The Pleasant Valley Senior Citizen's Picnic is held annually in the Spring, providing senior citizens an open air social function at Mattie Beal Park. The Lion's serve hot dogs, hamburgers, soft drinks and good fellowship for the community's seniors.
The Pleasant Valley Senior Citizen's Banquet is held annually in the Winter, serving dinner and brightening up the holiday season.
