Club members volunteer to visit local businesses and offer flag contracts to them. For a small fee of $25 dollars per year, club member's place U.S. flags in front of these businesses on holidays. Some business owners choose to keep the flags themselves and display them all year. The club replaces the flags when they become worn out at no extra cost to the customer. It's quite a sight to see U.S. flags all over the city of Lawton on holidays thanks to the Lawton Northeast Lions Club and those businesses that purchase the flag contracts. This is a vital and successful fund raising activity. PDG Fred Milton is the Flag Captain for the club.
